I was told by my lawyer that I am eligible for the 245i and we are getting the paper work together. Here is my story:
My aunt filed for the i 130 in May 18,1994 for my mum (aunt's sister and her family). It was approved in the same year. While waiting for the priority date I aged out. I was in the US on a F1 visa and went out of status. We consulted many lawyers and the one we retained told me that we can apply for an F1 visa from a i 20 I had got from a school and we filled the paperwork and waited for over a year and half before it was denied. Then the lawyer told me I can apply for AOS through the 245i. We are going to apply for i 130 next month. I am getting ready to pay another retainer to the same lawyer and invest a decade in this process. I would appreciate any information.

- I am doing a paper filing of 1040. Do I need to send 1040 as a two sided print out or single sided printouts?
The CA 540 specifically says single sided printouts but am not able to find this information for 1040.

Scruffy+un+hairstylesI have an approved I-140 and have a pending I-485 filed with NSC, received date 15 Aug 07. NSC I-485 processing date was moved up to Aug 15 a few days ago.
Was wondering if anyone else with similar received dates got an approval or some form of reply from NSC?

Is this notarized paper a valid birth certificate for 485 ?

pulled back un hairstyleDo note that AILF does cover people who were eligible to file in July but did not file due to USCIS/DOS revised bulletin.....However, it is unknown at this time what the outcome of the lawsuit would be for July applicants vs eligible but non-applicants as the decision is at the discretion of the Judge.....
IMHO, its better to file and get rejected......

Low Buns - Hairstyles forYour PD must be current and 485 filing date (which is also called RD - received date) should be close to USCIS processing times. Currently, I believe that USCIS is working on applications that it received in July 2007.
But it is USCIS :D - miracles happen!!! Last year, they approved 2006 PD cases while applicants with 2003/2004/2005 were waiting :D Good luck.

I need small help from you. I filed my EAD on july 17th and aug 2nd my green card is approved. I got mail from USCSIS that my application, fees and all supporting documents are returned due to either invalid fees or document is not signed which is not a case becauase i filed efile and paid by credit card and i sent them all supporting document. I guess they return because my GC is approved.
So can i claim fees paid my credit card back ? is there any body in same situation ? they mentioned in letter that fees will be back but i do not see that is case.
Appriciate if you help to understand that if they will give me money back or not.. i called customer services and they told me that i can not get it back but they were not sure.

Hi,
I m without an assignment for about 3 months, but I m maintaining my status bcoz the employer is running the payroll with minimum salary. mean while i m expecting a full time offer from a company and they are willing to transfer the visa. so my question is that when the new company will be asking for the paystubs for the transfer, I have the paystubs which have a reduced(minimum) salary than what I was earning when I had a project, so will it affect my job offer or any questions will be asked by USCIS?
i know the questions are pretty open, I would appreciate any replies/advice on this,
