In newly discovered love letters, a 17-year-old Elizabeth Taylor shared her dream with her boyfriend before returning later dies an engagement ring when the relationship has deteriorated.
The handwritten letters are from 1949, when Taylor was hired William Pawley Jr, who was about 20 years and the son of a wealthy American businessman and ambassador.
Taylor, who died last week aged 79, was already a famous Hollywood actress of the era, who played in the 1944 film "National Velvet."
Correspondence, including New Hamphire base RR auctioned in May, opening a window to see Taylor's life and love, before she was getting married and divorced eight times throughout his life.
"I received a wire this morning to send a ring and bracelet from New York," Taylor wrote in the letter Pawley on 20 September 1949, when their relationship was coming to an end.
"I have the ring right now - it's sparkling in the glorious sunshine - I guess this is the last time I have it on - for awhile at least - to take care of it, Darling - my heart is embeded [sic] there in the middle of it. "
Taylor died March 23 of congestive heart failure, and is remembered as one of the great ladies of Hollywood leading. She won an Oscar for "Butterfield 8" (1960) and another for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?" (1966).
RR auction received letters two years ago by a representative of Pawley.
Taylor has 66 letters and 20 letters to his mother, who said Pawley leaves his daughter alone when the engagement ended, "said Bobby Livingston, Vice President of Sales and Marketing RR auction.
The auction was set before Taylor died, and the points are expected to sell for $ 25.000 to $ 30.000, but this figure may rise, "said Livingston.

The letters begin in March 1949, shortly after Taylor had Pawley met while vacationing in Florida with his family.
By letter dated March 28, 1949, Taylor wrote that he wanted to be involved in Pawley.
"I want our hearts belong together for all eternity - I do not want that we are" friends "ever ... even if we have been married for 75 years, and has at least a dozen great-great-grandchildren," he written.
Taylor also spoke of the letters themselves to save the marriage Pawley. And she describes dating American football star Glenn Davis farce relationship, which began in Hollywood publicists Board, Livingston said.
